Crescendo Corporation Berhad (CCB) was incorporated in Malaysia on 15 September 1995 as a private limited company under the name of Crescendo Corporation Sdn Bhd. It was subsequently converted into a public limited company on 15 December 1995. CCB was listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) (now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad) on 8 April 1997.

The Group's major thrust lies in the industrial sector and continues to remain active in this sector after its listing. CCB is principally involved in investment holding and provision of management services to companies in the Group and other companies. The ultimate holding company is Sharikat Kim Loong Sdn Bhd, a company incorporated in Malaysia.

Under the leadership of the Gooi family, CCB's former holding company Panoramic Housing Development Sdn Bhd (PHD) ventured into property development in 1985. PHD is the main developer of the company's mixed development project known as Desa Cemerlang.

CCB Group's business activities include property development, investment holding, building construction, property investment and management, civil engineering, manufacture of concrete products, providing education services and trading of building materials.

Over the past 11 years, CCB Group has established a niche in industrial property development. Its flagship industrial park, known as Taman Perindustrian Cemerlang, near Johor Bahru is one of the largest private industrial estates in Johor, with more than 200 established factories operating successfully in the industrial park.
